I have been a member of NADOI, National Association of Obedience Trainers for the past 30 years. Twenty years ago I applied, passed the AKC test and became an Obedience Judge. This now includes Rally judging. I currently teach Puppy through Utility classes and recently the new AKC Rally class. When the Canine Good Citizen program was getting started some 15 years ago, I thought it was a great idea and worked hard to get it started. I was pleased to be given an honorary evaluator's status. I did not have to pass that test. I have had U.D. German Shepherds and Shelties. My current dog Holly,a Border Collie, is a Breed and Herding Champion working on her UD and the Rally Excellent title plus a little agility.
member of the board, trial secretary and the list goes on. I have also been president of the AOCNC, The Association of Obedience Clubs of Northern California and remain Mt. Diablo’s AOCNC representative. |
